NGO

The “International Report on Crime Prevention and Community Safety: Trends and Perspectives” was published by the International Centre for the Prevention of Crime in September 2008. This report gives an overview of the issues linked to crime, safety and victimisation in the world and mentions the types of prevention responses they elicit. Considering that the notion of “youth” varies considerably from one region of the world to another and that youth offending and victimisation is a very prominent issue in the crime debate, one of the ten chapters is dedicated to “youth safety”.
