The document entitled “Support of national efforts for child justice reform, in particular through technical assistance and improved United Nations system-wide coordination” was published by United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in March 2009 and presented at the 18th session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) in April 2009. The report provides information on activities carried out in accordance with Economic and Social Council resolution 2007/23 on child justice reform. It contains information provided by Member States, the Secretariat of the Interagency Panel on Juvenile Justice (IPJJ) and some Panel members, including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), Defence for Children International (DCI), the International Juvenile Justice Observatory (IJJO) and Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh).
