The report "Child Rights Situation Analysis: Right to Protection in the Occupied Palestinian Territory" was published by Defence of Children International (DCI) - Palestine and Save the Children Sweden in December 2008. This situation analysis provides an overview of Palestinian children living in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) in 2008 regarding their rights to protection, in accordance with international standards on the rights of the child. The document starts with general recommendations and a context analysis. The main part focuses on three different aspects: children vulnerable to violence in their homes and communities ; children in conflict with the law under PA Jurisdiction ; and children detained under the Israeli Military Order System.
